"AI-Driven New Models for Smart Manufacturing" Forum was held by SIA
On September 26, the Liaoning Sub-Forum of the Pujiang Innovation Forum and the Northeast Asia Technology Cooperation and Exchange Conference convened in Shenyang. Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) held "AI-Driven New Models for Smart Manufacturing" innovation forum during the event.
Under the theme "Digital Intelligence Empowers Liaoning's Revitalization, Industry-Finance Integration Opens New Chapters," the forum brought together experts, scholars, government representatives, and industry professionals from China, Kazakhstan, Japan, South Korea, and other countries. Participants engaged in discussions on cutting-edge trends, challenges, and opportunities arising from the deep integration of artificial intelligence and manufacturing.
During the keynote report session, several domestic and international experts shared their latest research findings and insights.
Tuleshov Amandyk Kuatorovich, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan/Russia and First Deput President of the Kazakh Engineering Academy, introduced the technological developments in smart manufacturing within Kazakhstan. Lei Zhang, Technical Director of SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd., presented the innovative work undertaken by SIASUN in the field of "Embodied Intelligence." Academician Mingcong Deng of the Japanese Academy of Engineering discussed the current state and future prospects of integrating artificial intelligence with control engineering. Researcher Dong Li from the Industrial Control Network and System Department of SIA explained how intelligent systems can flexibly adapt to complex and dynamic production environments. Mengmeng Yu, Chief Researcher at Nestfield Co., Ltd. in South Korea, shared key technological developments in AAS-driven multi-modal data management systems for industrial large models. Chenghao Han, General Manager of Symbol Communication Co., Ltd. in Japan, introduced Code Frequency Division Time Division Multiplexing and its application in underwater acoustic communication.
Following the presentations, the forum proceeded to the "Industry-Academia-Research-Application Seminar and Exchange" session. Attendees exchanged views on specific topics such as the application of AI technology in upgrading traditional industries and models for international cooperation.
