SIA and SAP jointly participate in CeBIT 2015
The 2015 Consumer Electronics,Information Technology and Telecommunications (CeBIT 2015), with the lead theme d!conomy kicked off in Hannover, Germany on March 15th, 2015, attracting more than 3,300 companies from 70 countries and regions. Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA) and SAP, the global enterprise management software leader jointly participated in the event and showcased preventive maintenance system for industrial equipment based on internet of things. Ma Kai, Vice Premier of China and Sigmar Gabriel, Vice-Chancellor of Germany visited the booth during the event and spoke highly of the technology.
The preventive maintenance system for industrial equipment, as a result of cooperative research between SIA and SAP for a period of time, mainly integrated WIA-FA industrial wireless network telecommunication technology developed by SIA, equipment preventive maintenance software based on HANA cloud service platform developed by SAP and industrial robot of SIASUN Robot and Automation Co. Ltd. It is capable of sensing the condition information of robot through the construction of internet of things based on wireless telecommunication, thus realizing preventive maintenance of industrial robot by analyzing the data via cloud service platform. The research covers several key technologies of industrial 4.0 such as internet of things and cloud computation, laying foundation for SIA and SAP to jointly realize smart factory based on the concept of industrial 4.0.

Being the world’s largest ICT event, CeBIT is dedicated to displaying innovative achievements in the fields of digital IT, housing and office telecommunication solution. This year marks the Sino-German innovation cooperation year, and it is also the first time China be the partner country of CeBIT 2015. China’s Partner Country showcase will be an especially impressive highlight at this year’s CeBIT, with over 600 Chinese companies presenting their innovations. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang sent video greetings to the event. Angela Merkel, German Chancellor and Ma Kai delivered speech at the opening ceremony.
