DICP Symposium (ⅩⅩⅩⅥ) on Novel Techniques for Quantitative Proteome Analysis (2013) held in our institute
From Oct. 27th to Oct. 29th of 2013, DICP Symposium (ⅩⅩⅩⅥ) on Novel Techniques for Quantitative Proteome Analysis (2013) was held in our institute. The symposium was chaired by CAS academician YuKui Zhang and Prof. Xiaohong Qian. More than twenty scientists from China, United States, Germany, Italy and Singapore were invited to present brilliant research reports. About one hundred research staff and graduate students from our institute including Prof. Lihua Zhang, Prof. Mingliang Ye, Prof. Zhen Liang and Assoc. Prof. Fangjun Wang joined the meeting.
Vice director Aisheng Wang made a speech at the opening ceremony. He gave a brief overview of the history of DICP Symposium as well as the research status of out institute in the area of novel techniques for proteome analysis.
The symposium with the topic of novel techniques for quantitative proteome analysis not only boosted the mutual understanding between domestic and overseas counterparts, but also promoted the international influence of our institute in the research area of novel techniques for quantitative proteome analysis through the discussion with domestice researchers in the area of novel techniques for quantitative proteome analysis as well as international famous scientists in this area such as Pier Giorgio Righetti, Norman Dovichi, Jacek R Wi?niewsk, Chritine Vogel, Weiguo Andy Tao and Lingjun Li. Moreover, the experts visited CAS Key laboratory of Separation Science for Analytical Chemistry and discussed into depth about the further collaboration with the research staff of our institute.
The symposium was sponsored by CAS Key laboratory of Separation Science for Analytical Chemistry, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of CAS, Chinese Human Proteome Organisation and Thermo Fisher Scientific of USA. (Text by Xiao Li and Huiming Yuan, Photo by Wansheng Liu and Zhongpeng Dai)
